Here are a couple of shots of the flying Northern Gannets from Newfoundland, Canada. They look almost identical, but I think one is better than the other. Can you spot why?

The answer is obvious. And this is what I have learned by trial and error and from other photographers It’s the first one as the dark wing in the 2nd photo blends into the dark rock.
