Very Red Head

This Lineated Woodpecker’s head is very bright red, set off against the blue sky.  We were driving up a steep road to get to a remote coffee farm.  The ruts in the road were so deep we had to get out of the car so it could be driven through that rough stretch.  While waiting I glanced up and saw this beautiful woodpecker working above us.
