Common Nighthawk

Two Boomerangs Connected to a Bird

Viewed 17 Times

The Common Nighthawk flies very erratically as it scours the sky looking for flying insects to devour. The long, pointed wings and the line across the wings makes it fairly easy to identify.  Look for them at dusk during migration.
