The Golden-crowned Kinglet is one of my absolute favorites. Just passing through here in the spring and fall, it it hard to photograph because it never stands still (although this one did for a whole 5 seconds).

Very nice! Great detail but more impressive to me is that you captured the gold crown but also captured a great pose with good eye contact. Most of my pictures of Golden-crowns and Ruby-crowns that show the colored crest are “head down” pictures that do not match yours.
