This is a good shot of the Lesser Yellowlegs showing the relative proportion of the head to the length of its bill (one way to differentiate it from the Greater Yellowlegs). The Lesser’s head is about as wide as the bill, whereas the Greater’s bill is longer than the width of the head. The Greater’s bill also curves up slightly.
