Monty and Rose are Chicago celebrities. These Piping Plovers arrived to nest in 2019, the first time in decades a nesting pair had been in Chicago. Everyone was thrilled to see them return to Chicago in 2020 and had four chicks (three of which have survived as of the third week of June). This female, Rose, is banded with a green band.
