Collar Tells it All

We were wandering around Lee County (2 hours west of Chicago) looking for the Snowy Owl several people had reported.  Our luck recently has not been good.  However, I was excited to spot this Eurasian Collared-Dove.  Although it didn’t come up as “rare” for the area, I had never seen one north of Florida.
