As we were standing in the car rental office in Lagos, Portugal Karen spotted a White Stork perched atop its nest on an unused chimney. The chimney stood in the middle of a vacant lot. It looks like the nest has been there for years.

Mike. This shot is fantastic! The cloudy day really bring out the color of the stork and chimney. I don’t think the photo would be as good if it were a sunny day. What are your thoughts on cropping the photo a bit so the bird and chimney are more to the left? Either way, great shot!
