I continued to watch the rare visitor to our backyard. I took some shots of him in the feeder but I prefer more natural-looking shots (that don’t include the hand-of-man). Here he perched on a dead stalk in the garden right behind the feeders.

This is a perfect photo! Such a beautiful bird! I hear them in my yard, but I haven’t actually SEEN one yet. They must be elusive. I prefer the “natural” shots, too.
