A Paler Kestrel

We saw the American Kestrel in several locations in Jamaica during our bird trip there.  In each case the bird was paler than the ones we usually see in the U.S. midwest.  In Jamaica they have the Hispaniolan subspecies of the Kestrel, which is paler.
