Juvenile white-phase Snow Goose, settling back into position after an extended preening, stretching session. Not rare for our area, but a rare sighting for me personally. This bird was hanging out with a juvenile blue-phase Snow Goose snd about 150 Canada Geese. We watched it from afar for quite awhile and then it rewarded us by swimming close by for some decent shots even from my unsophisticated camera. It was a beautiful contrast to the deep blue color of the water.

My favorite.
I like how the feathers of the Snow Goose are splayed out. Beautiful contrast between the white bird and the blue water.
