It took awhile but finally a female white-winged crossbill flew to the top of this pine and cooperated perfectly.

Had to rub it in, didn’t you. We’ve been there 7 times (even today in the rain) and still haven’t seen one. Keep this up and you’ll be our ex-Birding Buddy! Nice shot BYW.
