This is one of the hardest warblers to get a good photo of IMO. They are usually high up in the trees, very fast and being mostly black usually end up as a blurry silhouette. Imagine my surprise when this one landed in a sapling right in front of me. He didn’t sit still for long, but it is the closest I’ve ever been to one. Wish I’d taken a tiny step to the right for this pic, but I was too afraid to move.
