I was hoping to see both the Blue-winged and Golden-winged warblers this past spring, but I only managed to capture this one for a lifer. The Golden-winged warblers that were spotted in the area somehow eluded me however I did manage to see a BW and GW hybrid – the Brewster’s Warbler which doesn’t really count officially as a species in a life count I guess, but still a cool bird to see.
