This is a big hornbill!

This is a closer up view of the Great Hornbill from the one Mike Warner took in Thailand. This bird was part of a group of exotic animals owned by a company called Animal Rentals in Chicago, IL. Animals appeared in movies, TV commercials, special events, and educational seminars in the 80’s, 90’s and up until about 2010. This bird was part of the entourage. It was a show stopper to see such a magnificent bird close and personal…and it was tame.
