Long-wattled Umbrellabird

We were on a birding vacation in Ecuador. We walked through a farmer’s pasture that had lots of red clay and hills. After arriving at the lookout spot, we soon saw this bird. We watched it for quite some time. This farmer realized he could make more money than cattle raising allowing birders on his property. He still has some cattle. He lead our group to this bird’s location.
