There was some discussion when I posted the male Red-headed Barbet about the beauty of the bird. This is the female, IMO every bit as beautiful, but different. This bird is building a nest, using an abandoned woodpecker hole. She flew back and forth carrying moss and twigs, while, in general, the male just sat on a near-by perch and watched.
