This one is a little different. A Bananaquit, certainly a very common bird in the Neotropics. Many places that have hummingbird feeders in the Neotropics are constantly fighting wasps and bees. At times there will be 100’s of them around the feeders. To combat this, holes are placed in a plastic bottle and it is filled with sugar water. The bees come and ultimately drown. The hummers are not attracted to this (maybe because of the bees) but the Bananaquits sure will come. I could not resist snapping a picture of this bird, framed by the bottle.

Great observation! Wonderful shot!
Cool shot Bajadreamer.
Cool picture, hate to see bees dying, not wasps though.
