Kingfishers are often difficult to photograph, but I have found a reliable spot with easy access to both sides of a small wetland where this female Kingfisher will hang out and hunt. I have taken quite a few images of her, but have wanted to capture some flight shots which are very challenging with a quick moving bird of this size. This time, the light was not ideal and I needed an extender to extend my reach. I allowed the ISO to go much higher than I would prefer, but kept the shutter speed high enough to avoid motion blur. After processing this image with both Topa DeNoise a Topaz AI Sharpen, this is the result I managed to get, More like a work of art perhaps than crisp, natural photograph. But, the action is interesting.
