We saw many Black-faced Ibis while in Argentina. This one was flying past us at the Estancia El Palenque, which was a natural (more or less) pampas grassland remnant, which included cow pasture and lots of wetlands.

Thanks! On that particular day it was very windy and hard to stand still. The ibis were occasionally flying past, so I moved to the side of the bus that was sheltered from the wind and waited. (The other significant factor of this success is a newer camera with auto-focus/tracking with a buffer that accommodates continuous shooting.)
