Normally taking photos of birds in flight is not a priority for me. I would rather concentrate on recording the details and beauty of the bird. These things are often lacking in many of the photos I see of BIF. This image though, caught my attention as I sorted through my Spain images. I think it captures a view of this bird, an Egyptian Vulture, that is not often seen. This is not an easy bird to expose properly, especially on a bright sunny morning. We were very high in the Pyrenees Mountains, so yes, the sky was that blue.
