On the hunt

This is a Black Kite, one of the most common raptors of southern Europe. This shot was taken in Spain. These birds vary a great deal in their coloration and are often difficult for me to differentiate from other raptors, especially Red Kites. This image was cropped from the top and right to eliminate a distrating skyline above the ridge.
