On drive leaving Utah and on to Denver, we passed through the small town of Rangely, Colorado. Saw an artificial waterfall and stopped to eat and hydrate. We then noticed this nest. We were rewarded with some nice photos of an Osprey and her young juvenile.

We rarely get B&W photos shared on GreatBirdPics – thanks for sending us this one. The B&W helps focus the viewer on the bird and not the mess of twigs making up the nest. Thanks for reminding us to try experimenting with it.
