About a month ago, I took a photo of this guy at our neighborhood Lagoon. At the time, it was cloudy and gray outside. The Merganser came back ( I assume it’s the same one, I can’t believe another single male Merganser came to the same spot previously) and this time it was sunny, with the sun behind me. Makes a difference.
