I went to the lake shore to search for eagles. I found no eagles but did happen upon a duck cruising along the shore. My Bird identification app identified it as a Greater Scaup/Blue Bill. If some one has a more accurate ID please share it!

A very nice composition. Great Scaup would be the proper ID – the large black “nail” on the end of the bill is a good field mark (Lesser Scaup have a smaller nail). A Blue-billed Duck is native to Australia. I have changed the species on this post for you.
Lovely photo!
