This Eastern Kingbird was hunting for bugs and every time he caught one, he would land in the same general area. Since I was learning his routine, I had my camera trained in the area he would land with his snack. After this catch, he landed in his usually spot and as I continuously snapped off shots, the bug somehow got away from the Kingbird’s beak. But with cat-like reflexes, the Kingbird snatched him without leaving his perch and enjoyed his “tasty” snack.”

Great photo!
Wow! What a shot of the Kingbird – catch and release and then catch again!
