The Northern Waterthrush is a member of the Warbler family. There are two Waterthrushes. Northern and Louisiana. One way I can tell the difference the two is by: a. their song and the marking on the neck. The Northern Waterthrush has markings, think scarf for the cold up north and the Louisiana is clean of markings.
