A brutal fight scene.

Okay, I couldn’t resist posting another Greater Prairie Chicken shot of a fight scene. These birds really go at it and the battles are short but sweet.
In all honesty I should have been shooting these fights at 1/3200 of a second or faster. The interactions were that quick. I really like this image because it shows how the bottom bird has been pushed over and is about to gets stomped on. Just waiting for these fights was fun if you can classify fighting birds as fun.
