A flightless NZ endemic bird. Here it is on our deck near my pot plants. They wander round peoples gardens looking for worms and often dig up vegetable plants which annoy people.

On your deck! The Weka is certainly an interesting looking bird. Are these the same ones that each tires and other car parts?
Just hangs around the yard, very interesting.
