This non-breeding Franklin’s Gull was a rare visitor for the area.. I was on the beach before sunrise and noticed this gull flying around the shoreline looking for a early meal.. I was fortunate to be in the right area, with the right equipment, at the right time… this is how you find rare birds in your area,, go out often and increase your chances..
