Many beautiful colors in neotropical birds, but blue is my favorite. This bird, a Turquoise Jay, is certainly a beautiful shade of blue. It also is very “Jay-like” in its behaviors. Anyone who is familiar with the USA’s Blue Jays would be very familiar with these birds.
Shot with a Canon R5, 600 mm f/4.0, SS 1/160, ISO 5000, f/4.0. Shot in Mindo, Ecuador at the Birdwatcher’s House.
