Song Sparrow

Your Song Sparrow pic is great – but it threw me in a quandary. The rufous medial head stripes and line through the eye are redder than I’ve ever seen on a Song Sp. The striping on the breast didn’t look quite right to me either. I went through Sibley and couldn’t find anything else (Chipping and Tree Sp. no). Don’t know what to make of it except it must be a different coloration for a Song.
