Greater Flamingo

A composition you like?

Seldom do I like birds that are juxta positioned, but this shot appealed to me. The photo was taken in Portugal at the Lagoas do Santa Andre in the golden light of dawn. Two Greater Flamingos were feeding in the shallow lake and came together for an instant. The one on the right is a mature adult and the on the left is a juvenile. Shot with a Canon R5, a 600 mm lens + a 1.4x teleconvertor (840 mm) at a SS of 1/2500, ISO 640, f/8.0, an EC of -.7 (the birds were much brighter than the background) off a tripod.
