A not so sunny day for this Sunfish. This immature Green Heron nabbed this fish and took about 20 minutes to consume it. The fish is much larger than this head on shot shows.

Thanks for commenting Mike. This shot was taken on a horribly overcast day and I did not expect to get any kind of photo. But, you never know and that’s why I always bring my camera. I was set up on a log near a fallen tree that extended into a pond. I saw this Green Heron hunting and waited for him to catch something.
