One of my target birds while in Arizona recently. My fellow birders and I had a very nice hike up Miller Canyon to find these very pretty warblers. Easy to see how they got their name. A couple birders were hiking back down, when we ask if they had located the Red-faced warbler. Sure enough, they said, right up the trail, about 100 yards. Off we went, a bit further then 100 yards, as the day goes on. the warblers go up the canyon. A thrill to see these little birds.
