We’re back

After months of not seeing goldfinches at my feeder, they’ve made a return in the past two weeks. This bird is checking the surroundings before getting more thistle. I’m not a bird expert. At first I thought this was a female, but after doing more research, it could be a molting male. I’ll defer to the experts.
