This Reddish Egret was really fun to photograph “dancing” in the Laguna Madre.
It was actually hunting, and after lots of jumps, spins and twirls, it finally stabbed at the water and came up with a small fish!

I love the dancing Reddish Egret pic! I’ve never seen them hunting like that but next time I’m down south I’ll look for one doing just that.
