Wrentit

This bizarre looking west coast bird, is neither a wren or a tit, it is in its own genus. They tend to be fairly secretive. Over my five days in California, I heard at least two dozen of these birds, but this was the only way I saw. Fortunately he stuck around long enough for a picture.
