It was remarkable how cooperative a lot of the birds in the bog were. Stand quietly near a feeder for a few minutes, and the birds will appear. Its just a race to see if you get the image or your fingers freeze first.

I know what you mean about the fingers freezing! I as there in -3º getting pics of Bohemian Waxwings and my fingers were aching after 3 minutes. Beautiful pic of the Chickadee.
The feathers appear to be hair!
