It took a few minutes, but I finally spotted a Forester’s tern among the hundreds of gulls, terns, and skimmers lounging on the beach.

How interesting that you were on Tybee Island taking pictures of the same birds as I did about a month before I was there! You captured some really good shots of the terns flying. As for laying in the sand, I’ll leave that to the young. Thanks for sharing all you pics.
