Like Mike, every year for the past three years I make a few different calendars to gift for family and friends who enjoy my photos throughout the year. They are also kind of a neat way to document the year in birding for me, as in addition to the large photos, I also put smaller photos in some of the date squares with highlights of the year.
This is the cover photo for my “Backyard Birds” 2022 calendar. This was an unusually colored male house finch from my yard that was more orange than red. The service I use is Snapfish – they run great deals at the end of the year and the calendars are excellent quality.
I did a double-take when i saw the House Finch pic. All fluffed up and more orange than red. Thanks for including info about Snapfish calendars, too.
Love that picture!
