A flock of these Cedar Waxwings have been hanging out down the street from me at a pond near the Hamilton Reservoir. They have been catching insects in the air as they cross back and forth across the pond. They will take take to perch in between flights, alternately perching on either side of the pond. By patiently, waiting, I periodically get good photo opportunities as these birds perch near where I am standing. That is how I captured this image.
