Male Orchard Oriole hunting in the grass near the lake. There was a pair there but I sadly missed an opportunity to get a photograph of the female.
Latin name is Icterus spurius. (“spurious means illegitimate in Latin, probably because of its resemblance to the Northern (Baltimore) Oriole in early descriptions”) from iBird Pro.
