Great Horned Owl in a tree in our back yard. I had heard this owl at around 5:00AM then it showed up hunting in the area around 5:00 PM

How cool is that! Horned Owl in your back yard. I’ve heard them at night around here but yet to see it.
That is spectacular! I would have loved to see that!
It was great fun to see this one. I have heard them, in the night ,infrequently over the past couple of years but this is the first time I have seen one in this area. Not sure where they nest but I assume it is not too fa away., Hope you get a chance to see one soon!
