A Northwestern Crow (Corvus caurinus) high in the Empress tree.
Local bird count estimates put the Crow population in excess of 500,000 just in our small area. We have lots of Crows!

It’s so hard to get good pictures of black birds like the Crow. Our crows are making a slow comeback after the West Nile virus 10 years ago.
Thank you, Mike! I agree! They are either too light or too dark! I do a lot of fiddling with Exposure Compensation to get them right or as close as possible.
