Asteinmann sent in this great pic of a female Red-winged Blackbird on the nest feeding her hungry chicks. The chicks, although buried in the reeds, are nice and sharp.
Blairbirder received a call from a fellow birder, inviting him to see the first ever sighting of a Lesser Nighthawk in the state of Washington. Now that’s rare!
Blairbirder again, this time with a different-looking woodpecker. A Lewis’s Woodpecker.
