We start with asteinmann’s Yellow-rumped Warbler (Audubon’s). Look at all the brown on the wings! Never seen that before – perhaps a 1st year?
You might remember use chasing Red Crossbills around last winter. Asteinmann went out to Arizona and snapped this female where you can really see the crossbill.
KayakingNC is back in the saddle, I mean kayak. How would you like to paddle down right next to this beauty, a Green Heron?
Just look at the colors on the juvie Summer Tanager! From the kayak again?
