Before getting on with the pics a shout-out to my lovely wife Karen who married me 49 years ago today. I was too young back then to understand how blessed I would be to have her in my life for so long. Happy Anniversary!

Bajadreamer said he’s taken lots of pictures of the Resplendent Quetzal while down in Costa Rica but this one is his favorite. I’d like to see a poster-size blow up of this one.
Asteinmann watched young Ospreys practice how to fly for 20 minutes and got some great shots of one. Here’s a shot of one hovering over the nest.
