Last week I invited feedback on the picture below of a Northern Parula – Keep It or Delete It?
The answer – Delete it! Those of you with sharp eyes noticed that the head was either out of focus or fuzzy due to movement of the head (the shot was taken at 1/400th of a second, which is slow for warblers). There is a sharp focus on the body, but both the head and tail are out of focus – a very narrow depth of field. Either way, since the head is soft/fuzzy I say Delete It!
