Red, White, and Blue
Happy Fourth of July to all my GreatBirdPics friends! In celebration of the Fourth I bring you birds that are Red, White, or Blue.
Our red bird is a Red Warbler. We were in Oaxaca, Mexico when we got our first good look at this stunning bird:
I went back to February of last year to find our white bird. We were observing some Trumpeter Swans on the Des Plaines River when one of them decided to take off:
Finally, our blue bird is courtesy of LinLark who recently submitted her shot of a Blue Grosbeak singing away:
